Reggae artiste, Roo Dube has released the much-anticipated video for his educative song on Coronavirus (Covid-19) titled ‘Lockdown’.

Roosevelt Kofi Yeboah released the audio of the song in June 2021, after Ghana government joined some other countries of the world to impose a lockdown in the country as a measure to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The novel coronavirus has affected almost all countries in the world with some of the big giants particularly USA and China blaming each other for its emergence which to me is wrong. I believe this virus should rather unite us.

“The virus is indeed man’s greatest enemy and I want to encourage citizens to comply with all the protocols so the world would be free of this deadly virus and we will have our lives back,” Roo Dube told Modernghana prior to the release of the audio last year.

After eight months of the release of the masterpiece, Roo Dube has finally come out with the video for ‘Lockdown’.

According to the Reggae artiste, the objective behind the release of the video is to remove fear and encourage more people to get vaccinated.

“Conspiracy had made vaccination of the Covid 19 dose very scary but this educative music video will unease your fear. We need our lives back and the only way is to get vaccinated,” Roo Dube notes in an attachment to the link of the video on YouTube.
