The founder of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Akwasi Addai Odike says the Ashanti Region is not seeing much development the way it should.
He stated that whereas Greater Accra has more interchanges, Ashanti region does not have enough of them.
Speaking on the the New Day show with Johnnie Hughes on TV3 Thursday September 29, he said the region is also facing sanitation problem.
“There is filth all over in Ashanti region,” he said.
He further indicated that the work of the assemblies in the region have been politicized hence they are unable to deliver.
“Their work has been politicised,” he stressed.
